<p>First, choose your workout time carefully. Exercising during daylight hours will help you see icy patches more easily, and drivers and other exercisers will be able to see you more easily, too. If you exercise after dark, wear reflective strips and light-colored clothing for better visibility.</p>
<p>Before heading outdoors, suit up properly. Layers are best for trapping body heat, and a hat should be a part of your exercise attire because much of the body&#8217;s heat is lost through the head. But be careful not to overdo it &#8211; you can actually become overheated from wearing too much clothing. Don&#8217;t forget warm socks and gloves.</p>
<p>Whether you&#8217;re snowshoeing or running, shoes with adequate traction are important so you don&#8217;t lose your balance and risk injury. And don&#8217;t forget a scarf or face mask to warm the air before you breathe it, especially if you suffer from respiratory problems such as asthma.</p>

<p>The truth is, not too many pieces of fitness equipment offer the same kind of versatility as exercise resistance bands. Dumbells come close, but even they have their limitations, as they don&#8217;t offer any horizontal resistance whatsoever. In other words, if you want to sprint with something pulling back on you, dumbells are totally worthless.</p>

<p>There are times when we do get sick and that means that it is time for us to take a rest. It does not mean that even if we are not feeling well, we should just go on working or doing what we usually do because we still can. The thing is, our body also needs rest and it needs all the help that it can get so we should follow what our doctors tell us when we do get sick or if we do not feel well. If you do need to take more Vitamin C, then make sure that you do that. And if you do need to just rest in bed for a couple of days, then do that as well. It will not hurt you or your body that much compared to just continuing what you usually do.</p>
<p>Now is the time that you should also know that we are entering the flu season. And with that, the World Health Organization is making sure that everything is working well and everybody is healthy. The A(H1N1) flu has already been declared to be a pandemic and so it is important that we do take even more care of our health.
